What We Do
Physical Therapy in the Portland Area
Regardless of your age or health status, exercise therapy can and should play a major role in your life, especially if you’re in pain. The key is to find a program that works for you based on needs and limitations.
Our physical therapists and office staff have the professional training to make your physical therapy what it should be: an enjoyable but challenging experience that makes the most of your time.
At your PT sessions, you will:
- be greeted by name and with a smile
- learn about what’s causing your pain and how to manage it
- work 1-on-1 with a highly trained physical therapist, and
- learn how to perform an effective home and/or health club program
In addition to advanced training1 in exercise therapy, our physical therapists are required to have at least a master’s degree in physical therapy, 2 years fitness experience, strong fitness habits and exceptional bedside manner.
We don’t hire assistants or aides. You will be treated only by your licensed physical therapist.
Move in the Right Direction with c.h. Physical Therapy.
1The Advanced Training Specialist (A.T.S.) course takes ~2 weeks to complete and trains PTs at a level beyond industry standard in applied exercise therapy skills, such biomechanics, sports medicine and neuroscience in order to minimize joint stress and maximize benefit. The course has been taught multiple times through the American Physical Therapy Association, Oregon Physical Therapy Association and American Council on Exercise. To our knowledge, we are the only PT clinic in Oregon with this level of required post-doctoral training.
