Exercise Therapy

To help our patients learn their exercises, we provide a library of videos demonstrating how to perform them safely and effectively. While this library is not a complete list of all exercises we teach, it does include many of the primary exercises we use when helping patients recover from a variety of health problems.

The manner in which patients should perform exercises is critical to maximize benefit and minimize injury risk. We often hear from patients that they've tried physical therapy before but haven't seen much benefit, becoming bored during the process. When patients are shown how to perform exercises in a manner consistent with orthopedic/sports medicine principles, closely monitored during execution and inspired with motivational cueing can benefits be truly appreciated.

We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to perform any of our exercises without formal training from our physical therapists so as to avoid potential injury. The exercises shown have specific purpose and yield benefits when performed in conjunction with a complete therapy program that is customized to each patient. The only way this can be initiated is through an initial evaluation.
